Greetings from Bratislava...

Made it safe and sound to the place of my birth, Bratislava, Slovakia...so far I have managed to spend 99.9% of my time at the University Library, but happy to report that I seem to be finding everything I need to complete my dissertation and then some...hooray! As lonely as it is to be here by myself while little D is learning how to crawl (yup, breaks my heart) I have to say that my 15 minute ride into the old part of the city is nothing to complain about...here are some visuals of my last few days here...enjoy...
{A view from the plane, the inner courtyard of the University Library in Bratislava}
 {Two images from magazine, Zena a Moda, some shots of the National Slovak Museum's Style and Fashion of the 60s Exhibit}
{Shots of Bratislava}
{Old Town Bratislava, an old typewriter in a cafe, old elevator, earl grey tea and reading/research material, my childhood stomping grounds, a view of Austria from the car}

That's it from me for now, have to get back to work...hope you are all well...lots of hugs to those who are very missed...you know who you are...
Love K
