It's been in the negative double digits in the city as of late and I heard a nasty rumour that this weather is supposed to continue this whole week...sigh...one of the hardest parts of living in a city where the norm for winter temperature is for it to hover in the negative teens, is the fact that most days one is home-bound...with baby this is even worse, because although I would be brave enough to venture into sub-arctic conditions - to at least catch the bus, I cannot subject my little one to potential frostbite no matter how stir-crazy I become...so I roam around our warm abode and look for little things to take my mind of the fact that there are still at least two months left of winter house-arrest...today I made myself feel better by going around and taking some shots of some of my favourite little details in our home...I share these here with you...in the mean time I offer a silent prayer: "oh gods of winter can't you give us a break? Please!"...Guess not...enjoy...
