Bling Bling Inspo...

Ahhhhh accessories...how I love you so...mostly because I am going through a weird body phase post-prego at the moment, where I can kinda fit into my old stuff but it doesn't look the same, so now I rely on accessories to complete most of my looks...that being said, I have been searching (and pinning) high and low for some great accessory/bling bling inspiration and here is a compilation of what I have found...also if you are looking for some great jewellery to complete any outfit, check out JEWLR*, their stuff is really cute...enjoy...

I love love LOVE pilling on the bracelets, for one it looks great and two, it gives Baby Dublin plenty to play with and distract him with...don't you just love it when your accessories serve double duty?

Holiday Inspiration....

I love the holidays...it is pretty much the only thing that keeps me sane in the winter (don't love the winter much)...my enthusiasm for the holidays always ensures that I decorate early (see here), get all my gifts early, and listen to Christmas music way before it's appropriate! This year especially, has made me an early holiday bird because having a baby necessitates a lot of pre-planning and scheduling, not that I am complaining, I really don't mind having our Christmas tree up before December, just puts me in the spirit of the season that much earlier...another thing that out me in the holiday spirit? All of these great and creative ideas for holiday decorating...enjoy...
minimalist christmas...slightly Tim Burton-esque, but adorable nonetheless...
 yum yums...
a non traditional twist on a traditional theme...
I love the idea of displaying Christmas cards where everyone can see them...
this hanging branch overhead is a beautiful way to decorate your kitchen...
felt ornaments are one of my absolute favourite decorations...so adorable and sweet they are...
a simple solution for displaying glass ornaments...
 white on winter white...
another fantastic way to display Christmas Cards...
who says that your vanity can't also look festive?
if we had window boxes this is what they would look like...
a great use for some empties from the holidays...you know there will be quite a few...
hot chocolate corner for the kids and the kid in you...
a creative alternative for the traditional chocolate Advent Calendar...
 simple yet stunning...
love all the traditional decor ideas...back to basics...
gold and white ~ what a combo!
make your whole house look festive by integrating decorations throughout your already existing decor...

Gypset Style...

Not quite Gypsy but definitely Jet-setter...that's part of what it means to be a Gypset...Julia Chaplin defines this emerging subculture as follows:
Gypset (Gypsy+jet set) is about an emerging group of artists, musicians, fashion designers, surfers, and bon vivants– who lead semi-nomadic, unconventional lives. They are people I’ve met–or been inspired by– in my travels who have perfected a high-low approach to life that fuses the freelance and nomadic wile of a gypsy with the sophistication and global references of the jet set. It’s an alternative way of traveling and living that’s based more on creativity than money. Instead of a luxury hotel in St. Tropez or St. Bart’s, you might find a Gypsetter in Montauk, Cornwall, or in a teepee in Ibiza.”
But whatever defines these cool cats, I am more interested in the fahsion that they don anyway...enjoy my little collage that I put together of Gypset Style...
