Pour le Bebe...

I have been promising photos of the baby nursery and I finally managed to get it organized and photographed...it's still a bit of a work in progress but I am happy with the space...it's soothing and calming and hopefully everything the little guy will enjoy and that's mostly thanks to my wonderful friend Emily, who is responsible for all the amazing, whimsical, not to mention necessary details (Emily made the curtains, lampshade, pillows, wall-flags and bench cushion!) Thanks so much Em, the room would never have been as amazing as it is without your golden touch...let's just hope the little fella has a comfortable time sleeping here, because let's face it that is the most important thing...

...the little bug's room...

 ...the baby crib...
..details...
...my husband insisted I get a rocking chair, glad I did...
...an Ikea bathroom cart converted into a diaper and baby-necessities cart...
...not sure how long this will stay this organized after the baby comes, but it sure looks good right now...
 ...a comfy corner nook...
 ...details...
 ...wall flags by Emily...
...a bench that acts as a seating area as well as storage...owl was knitted by my good friend Danielle and the pillows along with the padded bench were done by Emily...
...I converted the impractical closet space into the changing area...the curtains and pillow were designed by my friend Emily, who is a wiz at sewing, arts and crafts...
...his very own little gallery wall...

...that's it...that's our little bubs-to-be room...hope you are all enjoying your Thursday, it's a lovely and sunny one here in Canada's capital and I hope it stays that way for the weekend, especially for our upcoming Blogger Fashion Sale...which reminds me, if you are in the Ottawa area this Sunday, check it out, there are things for everyone and good times to boot. See our poster here!

Love K
