Office Space...

Got myself a new office this week, which for me is a big deal since for the past 2 years I have been working anywhere from home (too many distractions in the adorable canine persuasion), cafes (people watching tends to take over for working many-a-times), to the school resource centre (which, don't get me wrong, I love but cannot decorate or make my own!) so, yes, I am super excited! Just like with most offices, this one too comes attached to a job, but seeing as I am excited about both it seems like a win-win...but now for the fun part, I was given the green light to do what I will to my new digs (within reason of course) so in true Love K fashion, I have spent the early morning scouring various websites for some office decor and organization inspiration...below are just some of the ideas I found...so to help me on this quest for interior-decor goodness, if any of you have websites, pictures or general advice email me or send me a comment to let me know...I always get excited when someone introduces me to something new, inspirational, funky or otherwise! In the mean time, I will be collecting, researching and pinning over what else I can do to spruce up my new little workspace...photos to come so stay tuned...
This space is absolutely amazing, originally from Domino Magazine and a constant inspiration...
I love the different picture frames that showcase various art and the shelving with books galore...
Organization is key...plus the red chaise would match perfectly...
One of my favourite offices of all time via theglamourai...
Some more little organization and inspiration ideas...
 Just gorgeous...loving the outdoor/indoor space...

...and that's what I have been able to come up with so far...not too shabby eh? But it's off to work now, hope all of you are enjoying your little work spaces, wherever these may be...
Love K

I love the room with the powder blue wall. It's an elegant pop of colour against black and white.

A clever thing to do when creating your own office, in order to help maximise the space, is to use wooden brackets to hold your desk top on, rather than using table legs. This will create extra space for maybe a small filing cabinet. Just an idea for you. Looking forward to seeing your office develop.
