Berlin Lovin' ~ Day 5 & 6...

{molecule man statue at sun down}
This post will be a little short in terms of verbiage, mostly because tonight is our last night in Berlin and we are about to go out on the town once again but I wanted to update with a post of our last two days...day 5 in Berlin was just as jam-packed as the rest of the week...we made our way to the Topography of Terror, which is an eye-opening exhibit that documents the rise and fall of the Nazi regime through photos, plaques, paper work and other documentation...as sad as it was to walk through the exhibit, it was well worth it and incredibly well-done...
The rest of the day consisted of walking through random downtown neighbourhoods, which I documented below...Berlin is such a vibrant city, the architecture is so varied and inspiring...anything from modern to old and traditional buildings, it's great to just walk and gape at everything...
...but at night is where the real fun began...we made our way to the Club Der Visionaere, which is an amazing outdoor bar along the river which features a live DJ and amazing drinks...

Day 6 was a super relaxing time...we hung out in a cafe pretty much the whole day and people watched, which is one of my ultimate favourite things to do while travelling...we checked out some amazing vintage stores (the city is full of them) creative cafes (the city if full of these as well) and ate some AMAZING food (yes, the city is full of this too)...we did not get home until 4 am after which we stumbled into bed and snored most of the morning away...
two of the many creative cafes in the city...

vintage shops and cool architecture...

Transit, an Asian fusion restaurant we had lunch in...
...and that concludes day 5 and 6 of our Berlin adventure...today we visited one of the greatest exhibits I have yet seen...but that's a story for another day...until then, stay tuned...
Love K
