Cupcakes and spice and everything nice...

I have been doing a lot of fashion posts as of late, so I decided to step away from that for a moment and post about another one of my (many) passions: interior design...Emily Shuman, the brains behind one of my favourite lifestyle blogs, cupcakesandcashmere, was recently featured in another one of my favourite blogs, apartmenttherapy...what a collaboration...sigh...her apartment is gorgeous...simple, classy with lots of clean lines, interesting vintage details, muted colours and what a closet, OY! I really love the airy feel of the LA home and the uncluttered look and feel...definitely one of my favourite abodes thus far...below are some of my favourite shots of the place as featured on apartmenttherapy, but for more pictures and the full story you can click here...enjoy...
I love the different coloured bowls...always nice to contrast a white
background with a splash of colour...
Love the details and little trinkets...what can I say, a girl simply cannot go without!
This mini-bar cart is gorgeous...what a great way to showcase glassware...
aahhhh the closet...ain't it something? LOVE!
Isn't this home so lovely? I think so...makes me want to re-decorate...which is saying something considering we haven't even finished decorating our new place yet...slowly but surely, it will all get done (or at least that's what I keep telling myself...) either way, Emily's home is definitely a great source for some much needed interior design inspiration...and that being said, this little blogger is off to catch some much needed 'zzzzz's...happy hump day everyone (and by "hump" day I mean Wednesday, in case you were wondering)...
Love K

Very sweet and airy feel to Emily's place. I love how her trinkets are highlighted with the clean and neutral rooms. Can't wait to see what you have planned for your new home.

But no rush eh. I moved into our first home in October and unfortunately interior design has been replaced with landscaping and fixing up the old & fugly.

I'd love love love to meet up with you when you come to Paris in September. That'd be so lovely.

Have a great glam weekend!
