...a royal tea-partea...

A few days ago I was extended a very surprising but very lovely and exciting invitation...needless to say I was thrilled...here is what it is~in support of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Association, the St. Laurent Centre and the Museum of Nature are throwing an exclusive Royal Tea Party with special guest and host of Fashion Television, Jeanne Beker (more info below)...and guess who will be there in her favourite party frock? Yup, yours truly...so excited!

Can't Make the Royal Wedding?

Join us for our royally inspired afternoon tea featuring Jeanne Beker, in our own funky version of a British Tea Room set-up in the New York loft style 4th Gallery space in the Museum of Nature. St. Laurent Centre is proud to be donating all proceeds of the event to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation's new Cancer Survivorship Centre opening this Fall.

Event is on April 21st from 1:00-3:00pm in the Museum of Nature 4th Floor Gallery

Tickets are $250 each and only 125 tickets are available for the event.

A little bit about the special host, Jeanne Beker...

I honestly cannot wait for tomorrow, being a fashion lover and a fashion theorist, this is a pretty exciting thing for me...but before I get too excited I must first face the most daunting of all tasks...figuring out what to wear...eeeeeek...wish me luck and have a great (albeit rainy and grey) day everyone...
