When in Paris...

...a few years ago, I traveled to a magical city...the city of lights, the city of love...of course I am talking about Paris...a few days ago I came across something that reminded me of this magical place, something that I actually wish I had when I was visiting...well there is always a next time right?
Soooo this little something I came across in my journeys through the net world, is a little book entitled, "Parisian Chic~a style guide by Ines de la Fressanges"...and it's adorable...full with photos, illustrations, advice on where to eat, shop, lounge and party in Paris...plus the author also features some Parisian style/fashion and interior design...seriously this book is totally something I would make if I had to design a city guide book, it's perfect for any traveler who loves fashion, cafes, galleries, museums and roaming the charming streets of old cities...
I first came across the book when it was featured by one of my favourite blogs, habitually chic, but Lonny Magazine has also done a really great feature on their website (here)...this little gem will be available April 5th, but can be pre-ordered from Amazon and Chapters/Indigo as well...(can you guess what this little blogger will be doing/ordering after I finish with this post?)

Seriously, I am having serious Paris withdrawal just by looking at these images...perhaps a reunion trip to this magical city may be in order in the near future? We shall see...until then, I will content myself with waiting for this little treasure to arrive on my doorstep so I can pine some more...le sigh...

It looks AMAZING! I'll make sure to buy it if I decide to go to the Paris trade show in September ;)

Great post! I'd want to follow the guide for sure. I'm having some Euro withdrawal as well.

Awe. That looks like the most perfect book for when traveling to Paris. Hopefully you are able to get your fix soon.

My little sister went to Paris for a weekend when she was studying in Poland. She said that I would love it there... one day I hope to go.
