paper cranes...

...on a more somber note than is usually my style, I would like to take this opportunity to express my shock, sadness and concern for what happened and is happening in Japan...having been a visitor to this beautiful country twice and being absolutely in love with its people and all it has to offer, and having good friends who have made Japan their home, I feel it is particularly important for me to say something about this issue...so here it is, short and sweet: please give what you can to aid in the relief efforts (here)...every bit helps...thank you...

This photo was taken in Hiroshima, Japan at the A-bomb museum...
Paper cranes represent hope and longevity...

This natural disaster is a really sad tragedy. It's great that you mention it here and provide the link for people who want to help out.

Beautiful blog. Definitely it's a hard time for Japan and we should pray for them and donate some if we can. My prayers are with them.
