Hi everyone...

Since the Holiday season is all about sharing (and caring) Love K would love to do something a little different this year...I am thinking that it might be super nice to have some special guest bloggers for the 24days before Christmas! That being said, I am looking for some volunteers who would like to write, provide photos, inspiration, basically anything to my blog...I will try for a different special guest everyday until the 24th...so let me know by contacting me via a comment on my blog or e-mail me directly at kkuruc@hotmail.com...Ms. Julie Lan of Popchampagne, will be my very first official guest blogger on December the first...so stay tuned for some amazing and witty commentary...I am open to many unique creative posts so don't be shy and blog away...

Urban Jungle...

...yet another amazing spread from Vogue Korea...loving the animal prints and the decadence of the furs and silks...plus the jumpsuit in the second photo is absolutely amazing! Grrr (okay that was a bit cheesy...even for me ;-) Enjoy...

First Snowfall...

...yesterday was the first official snowfall in the city and I thought I would immortalize the moment with a few snapshots...so with my trusty Nikon in tow and my puppy in her full late fall/ early winter ensemble, we made our way around the neighbourhood enjoying the powdered trees and snow-covered surroundings...I figured I should probably take full advantage of my enjoyment while I still have it, because my love and excitement for the snow is usually very short-lived and quickly replaced with annoyance and dreams of warm sunny days...the following are some of the photos I took with my monster on our first snowfall adventure...enjoy...

Wishlist item #2: "Luella's Guide to English Style"...

...this may seem like a strange wishlist item for someone who is neither English nor has ever been to England for that matter (unless you count the time I was stuck in a stinky London bus station for 8 hours waiting to board the bus to Dublin...because I certainly don't)...but I have to say that English style, be it fashion, architecture, etiquette has a bit of an appeal to me (plus rumour has it that the Brits LOVE tea just like me ;-)...Afterall, I am just as much of a fan of Kate Moss as the next fashion-conscious girl...so why not? The book promises to be an adorable collection of style, fashion and English etiquette advice along with lovely photos, art, diagrams and illustrations. The designer writes:

"My aim is simply to dig up the roots of and, more importantly, show my unerring appreciation and devotion to those contrived subtleties and that blatant contrariness that makes British women so staggeringly adept in the art of expression through style."

English or not English, this blogger is definitely including this little gem on her Christmas wishlist...

Norwegian Winter Inspiration...

...it's no secret that I am not a fan of lady winter (why does she even have to be a lady?) but I admit if I had a cabin such as the one below I may be persuaded to be a little more favourable towards this particular season...perhaps...either way, it's an amazing space...enjoy...

Wishlist Item #1: "American Designers at Home"...

...yes I fully realize that it's not even December yet and already I am making wishlists...what can I say, a girl's gotta start early, right? Anyway the first item on my imaginary wishlist is definitely The American Fashion Designers at Home book (family and friends take heed :-) Not only does this totally satiate my crazy voyeuristic obsession with oogling others' homes, but it also allows a glimpse into the homes of some of the biggest names in fashion (woo-hoo! the best of both worlds!)...the book includes images of homes belonging to Oscar de la Renta, Donna Karan, Torsy Burch among others...eye candy for all lovers of architecture, interior design and fashion...enjoy...

A Punk-Inspired Winter...

...not sure why I like this particular photo-shoot (a la Vogue Korea) that much, after all I am neither a fan of Winter nor sports per se...but I was instantly attracted to the aesthetic of these images...must be the mowhawks...hmmmm...
