Last year Hugh (my husband) and I were lucky enough to visit Hiroshima, Japan. While we were there we got the chance to go to the A-bomb museum and I just re-discovered these gorgeous shots of paper cranes. The cranes were made by Japanese students to commemorate all of the victims of the atomic bomb. These photos always make me think about what we have done, and what we are doing to our world. Something to think about...

More interiors

One of my favorite blogs, http://www.designspongeonline.com/ has a great section called "sneak peaks" and since I was sick most of last week I was able to spend hours (when I should have been concentrating on my PhD applications...) on the site oogling the many fabulous interiors the site features. This is by far one of my favorite spaces and I thought I would share. The home belongs to a freelance graphic/publication designer named tonya sutfin and her illustrator husband. Enjoy...I know I did!
