Konglish...ahhh Konglish

One of the greatest things about being a foreigner in a foreign place is the little idiosyncrasies that each nation seems to embrace. For Korea it's KONGLISH (a mix of Korean and English) which is found on virtually every commodity known to man. From T-shirts to notebooks, even car windows, Konglish is one of the most entertaining cultural elements found here in Korea. As my love for this creative linguistic form grows as does my obsession with collecting konglish artifacts...I have assembled some of my favorite Konglish items/disasters for your reading (and viewing pleasure) but be sure to note that these will be updated on a regular basis...so without any further ado....

I am dreaming...dreaming of Paris...

I saw...

I saw a horrible car accident today...it happened right in front of me on a corner where I usually stand...A truck went of the road onto the side walk and then flipped over into a ditch...I think a part of me has shut down as a result of it...I could have been standing there today had I crossed the street a few minutes earlier..I think I now believe in guardian angels...and I think his name is Janko...and I miss him very very much...

My first blog...

I have never done this before so not sure what to expect, but I guess that is what's fun about doing something new-you never know what to expect. Living in Korea, I have experienced plenty of the unexpected, new and sometimes terrifying. Let's just see what happens...
